From 3 to 8 December 2013 the delegation of the NRU ITMO visited German universities as a part of the program “Improving the system of university workers' mobility in the leading educational and research centers”
During the visit, discussions with representatives of the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the Munster University of Applied Sciences were held. The aims of the negotiations were the conduction of the joint research and the establishment of joint educational master's and PhD programs and improving the resource efficiency and sustainable development.
Delegation of the NRU ITMO studied the experience of research in the field of resource efficiency and the practice of implementing research results in industry in InstituteFactor 10, Friedberg, and in the Agency of the eco-efficiency, Frankfurt (Efficienz-AgenturofNorthRein-Westfalia).
During the working meetings with the representatives of WupertalInstituteforClimate, EnvironmentandEnergy, MunsterUniversityofAppliedSciences, Efficienz-AgenturofNorthRein-Westfalia, InstituteFactor 10 the timing and plan of the International Summer School in the NRU ITMO (June 2014) were identified. In addition, the members of the NRU ITMO delegation discussed participation in the European resource forum in Berlin on 10-11 November 2014 with the reports on the results of the project "Sustainable development and resource efficiency in the food chain".
