RSF Grants Competition for Science Research

The Russian Science Foundation (RSF) has opened applications for the third grant competition as part of the “Basic Scientific Research and Exploratory Scientific Research, Conducted by International Research Teams” program arranged together with the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (French National Research Agency).

As part of the new contest, fundamental and exploratory scientific research projects conducted by international research teams in the fields of physics, humanities, social sciences, and the COVID-19 pandemic will be evaluated by both Russian and French organizers. Only research teams approved by both representatives of both countries will be funded.

The size of one RSF grant is 4 to 6 million rubles per year. The research projects are to be implemented during 2022-2024.

According to the rules of ANR, international research teams must preliminarily apply for a joint project no later than December 1, 2020.

The call for proposals is open until April 1, 2021.

The results will be announced in October 2021.

In order to apply, you need to fill out the form on ISU (in Russian: ИСУ - Личный кабинет -> Центр приложений -> СППД-Руководитель проекта -> Заявки -> Подать заявку). The head of the project must submit a PDF version of the application to the Office of Information Support of Open Tenders for State and Municipal Needs via email.


International research teams are welcome to apply.
