FLAMN-22: Open Call for Young Scientists

Description

On June 27-30, St. Petersburg will host one of the most significant events in the world of laser technologies. The International Symposium on Fundamentals of Laser Micro- and Nanotechnologies (FLAMN-22) will bring together representatives of science and business to discuss the modern issues of laser micro- and nanotechnologies, share the latest scientific discoveries, and demonstrate cutting-edge laser equipment.

As part of the event, the School in Laser-Optical Systems and Technologies is launching an open call for young scientists, engineers, and students.

10-11th grade students will have the chance to join the summer school on June 22-24. Within two days, participants will learn more about laser and optical devices and find out how these technologies are used in science and industry today. Young researchers will help soon-to-be school graduates with their projects for the FLAMN-22 contest. Students who excel at the competition will receive extra points when applying to ITMO’s Bachelor’s programs.

For Bachelor’s students, the participation in FLAMN-22 is a chance to enroll into the university’s Master’s programs without having to take any exams.

The call for applications is open till May 15, 11:59 pm (GMT+3).

Participants

School students of 10-11th grades and Bachelor’s students are welcome to participate.
