Inside, Alfa Space mimics the bank’s actual phygital offices, down to the top-notch equipment. The space can also be easily transformed to suit the various events to be hosted there – such as workshops, lectures, and seminars by Alfa-Bank’s experts, where they will talk about real-world cases and industry trends.

“One of ITMO’s crucial tasks is to do our best to facilitate the integration of our students into the work of major companies so that after graduation our students don’t require any time to adapt to the workplace. This way, it will be easier for them to integrate into strong teams and contribute to their work. Alfa Space is just another step on this path that will be beneficial for all participants,” said ITMO Rector Vladimir Vasilyev.

“ITMO is among our major strategic university partners and the launch of Alfa Space is an important stage in strengthening our collaboration. We see great potential in this partnership and we are certain that together we will train a new generation of professionals – that’s why we are creating an educational center here. Alfa Space will become a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between our experts and ITMO students, which will equip the younger generation with everything they need for a career in fintech,” shared Marat Ismagulov, the head of HR at Alfa-Bank.

Alfa-Bank is an active supporter of various initiatives aimed at improving education and professional development for young people. This new space at ITMO is part of the bank’s wider program of partnerships with the country’s universities, which includes educational courses, internships, and grants.
