One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

A holder of the Big Five at the Oscars, Miloš Forman's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is rushing back into local theaters to tell the story of a criminal (Jack Nicholson), who pleads insanity to get into an asylum where he raises the patients up against a tyrannical nurse.  

The screening is in English with Russian subtitles. Age rating 18+, viewer discretion advised.

Multicultural festival Storony Sveta

For the third time, the Storony Sveta is back to celebrate the heritage of peoples of Russia through music, crafts, cuisines, and more. On the program are folk music concerts, lectures, an ethnic market, a food court with national cuisines, workshops, and installations. One of the festival’s headliners is the trending Russian band лампабикт.

Holidays may be over, but we have holidays at home theaters – and these are good! This 1953 movie follows a princess, played by the one and only Audrey Hepburn, who out of boredom and “suffocation” escapes to Rome on her own.

Bashmakov Gallery’s new exhibition is a kaleidoscope of talents of the School of Paris. The lineup includes the surrealistic Salvador Dalí, the colorful Henri Matisse, the whimsical Marc Chagall, and more!
