The art collection of the Noskin brothers

To learn even more names from the city’s art scene, head to the Apartment No. 3 exhibition running at Leningrad Center. The exhibition presents about a hundred artworks from the private collection of Valentin and Leonid Noskin – paintings, graphics, and sculptures created by St. Petersburg-based artists of different genres from the 1970s to the 2010s.

On the big screen: Brother and Brother 2

It wouldn’t be a city-themed weekend without some of the iconic movies that were filmed here. This weekend, we’ve got the duo of crime films, Brother (1997) and Brother 2 (2000), coming to the big screen. In following the story of Danila Bagrov, a young ex-soldier who moves to the big city to find his brother, you will become familiar with Russia's "wild '90s" and the underworld of St. Petersburg at the time. To fully get into the first movie’s setting and aesthetics, make sure to explore the locations featured in the movie by following our guide – and don’t forget to put Nautilus Pompilius on (you’ll get why).

NB! Both movies are screened in Russian.

Olympic Orchestra

Rock hits of all times, a symphony orchestra, and a one-of-a-kind listening experience – that’s what you’ll get at the Olympic Orchestra concert this Saturday. The well-known St. Petersburg band will throw an exciting show where all your favorite songs – We Are The Champions, Still Loving You, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and many more – will take on a new sound and fullness.
