The Night of the Ad Eaters
The Night of the Ad Eaters has no need for introductions. The “world tour of advertising creation” will come to St.Petersburg on December 16; the event will take place in the Oktyabrsky Big Concert Hall. Whether you’re an experienced “ad-eater” or will be enjoying this marvellous show for the first time, you’ll definitely appreciate it, - so be sure not to miss it!
Genteel Rag Fair & St. Petersburg Fair
This curious event will take place at the Port Sevkabel creative space and bring together over a hundred designers, stylists, artists, cooks, florists and antique dealers from all over the country, where they’ll present all kinds of goods and items. Festive interior decorations, a great food-court and live music will definitely make you feel like Christmas is already here!
Another similar event, the St. Petersburg Fair, will take place much closer to the city center on Kazanskaya 7, - yet another great opportunity to cool off and find some unique presents for your dearest friends!

Festival of the World’s Tea Beverages
Loft Project ETAGI will host the Festival of the World’s Tea Beverages - an event dedicated to all kinds of the world’s most popular drink, as well as the various traditions and recipes that have to do with it. Dive into different histories and cultures, try new tastes, and warm yourself with a cup of some exquisite tea! The event will take place throughout the weekend.
“Arts Square” Festival
The Arts Square festival will take place from December 14 to 24; world-renowned symphonic orchestras, opera artists and theater companies will gather in St. Petersburg to perform at its different historic sites. The event is mostly about classical music, though some of its many events will include theatrical performances and even a cartoon screening. Organ Music Concerts
This weekend, there will also be two major organ music concerts that will take place in two of St. Petersburg’s Catholic temples - the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the St. Stanislaus Church; by the way, if you really like such music, you can listen to it quite frequently - some of St. Petersburg’s temples hold weekly free concerts, like the St. Catherine's Lutheran Church on the Vasilyevsky Island.
St. Lucy's Day in Vyborg
Finally, if you’re up for a really spectacular event, you can visit the historic city of Vyborg to the north of St. Petersburg and participate in the grand festival dedicated to Saint Lucy's Day - a major Christian holiday most popular in Scandinavian countries. Each year, the Vyborg Castle opens its doors to all visitors regardless of their beliefs, inviting them to a grand feast; the event’s program is most versatile, and features music concerts, workshops, performances and a traditional jousting match.
