  • Open-Source AI by ITMO Developers Takes First Place at RAS Competition

    The ITMO-developed software won gold in the category Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technologies at the competition for young scientists organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Sistema Charitable Foundation. The proposed technology allows for the use of AI approaches for deeper data interpretation and a range of scientific and industrial tasks (e.g., flood forecasting or modeling of data from technical sensors).

  • ITMO Receives 5 Million Rubles to Support Young Scientists

    ITMO University has won the competition of student research associations organized by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The university will use its 5-million-ruble grant to fund an international conference of young sciences, a career fair, a competition for the best scientific project, and nine other events that will help students find like-minded peers and boost their research skills.

  • ITMO, HTML Academy and Yandex To Host Contest for Frontend Developers

    On February 18, HTML Academy online school will host Russia’s first national frontend development contest, organized in collaboration with ITMO and Yandex. Joining online, participants will solve real-life industry cases on developing web interfaces to be then ranked by their performance, as well as awarded within two categories – Best in Design and Best in JS. Those who make the top of the ranking, as well as winners in each category, will be invited for jobs or internships to Yandex and other leading Russian IT companies.
