• 300+ Heads of Educational Programs From 22 Universities Complete ITMO’s Professional Development Course in AI

  More than 300 educators from Russian universities have completed an AI-focused professional development program at ITMO. The course aims to improve the qualifications of lecturers who will provide fast-track training to highly qualified specialists in AI. Thanks to the program, 22 Russian universities updated their educational programs in the field to target the competencies that will be in demand in 4-5 years.

• 155 Teachers in Russia Took AI Course by ITMO and Alfa-Bank

  ITMO University and Alfa-Bank collaborated on a joint continuous professional development course to help teachers master AI and learn how to use innovative technologies in the classroom. The course was taken by 155 people from 52 cities in Russia and the CIS countries.

• IT for Financial Experts: Bank Saint Petersburg Employees Received ITMO University Professional Development Certificates

  The conference hall of Bank Saint Petersburg hosted the closing ceremony of the professional development course created by ITMO University’s National Center for Cognitive Technologies (NCCT). Each participant was granted standard-issue certificates and three students with the highest scores received special gifts from the NCCT. • Council for the Development of Digital Economy at ITMO University: Online Education and Russian Universities in Global Top-50

  On March 26, ITMO University hosted the third session of the Council for the Development of Digital Economy at the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. At the center of discussion was the topic “Human Capital as the General Asset of Digital Economy”. The event’s speakers and participants discussed the training and retraining of human resources in the framework of the Digital Economy national program. Particular attention was paid to the issue of regional involvement in the development of human capital for the digital economy, as well as providing Russian citizens with opportunities for lifelong study and avoiding the risks related to the automation of economy.
