• ITMO.GO Celebration of First-Year Students: Open Air, Dancing and DJ Sets

  On September 4, three ITMO University locations hosted ITMO.GO, a great welcoming event to all first-year students. The celebration was the finishing touch in the week-long program of  Introduction Days, where students had a chance to get to know each other and learn more about the opportunities provided by the university.

• Introduction Days 2020: Welcoming New Students

  From August 31 to September 4, 2020, ITMO University hosted Introduction Days (link in Russian) for first-year Bachelor’s and Master’s students. The event was created last year to introduce new students to the university’s system, the opportunities it offers – and above all, each other. ITMO.GO, a large-scale celebration traditionally marks the end of the introductory block.

• Studying, Working, and Growing at ITMO University

  ITMO University’s admission campaign 2020 is fully online. Moreover, all students will be able to choose between offline and online studies in the first semester. The pandemic won’t prevent us from beginning the new semester on time. ITMO University also offers a whole range of scholarships and contests that will allow the students not only to study and do research, but also to make money. • Student Orientation and Meetings with Scientists: ITMO Introduction Days

  On September 2-3, ITMO University hosted Introduction Days, an orientation event for first-year Bachelor’s and Master’s students familiarizing them with the education process at the university and the opportunities it offers. The students took part in interactive sessions focused on introducing them to each other and teambuilding, attended lectures by leading ITMO scientists and learned about how to go on a semester exchange abroad.
