  • First in Russia AI School Paper Checker Developed at ITMO

    ITMO researchers have designed a neural network for processing the results of the national tests performed by school students. The algorithm will reduce the processing time by 20 times and free teachers from routine tasks. The service is currently being tested at three schools in St. Petersburg – and will potentially be implemented all across Russia. This is the first AI-powered technology of this scale in Russia.

Polioks can analyze a system’s potential, predict the cost of further training, and evaluate its performance, including in harsh conditions. Moreover, the software compares AI products with similar solutions available in open repositories or its own library. Compared to previous methods, the solution by ITMO developers cuts the time required to prepare for comprehensive testing from a few days to a few minutes.

  • Automated Discoveries: Digital Assistant for Chemists Developed at ITMO

    Scientists at ITMO University have created the digital assistant ChemCoScientist, which automates chemical research and assists in routine, time-consuming tasks. The robot can generate new and refine existing chemical compounds and synthesis algorithms, as well as predict chemical properties and analyze research. Chemists do not require programming skills to use ChemCoScientist; all they need to do is make a request in the chat. The assistant will accelerate and simplify the development of novel medicines and materials in research, pharmaceutical industry, and the chemical sector.
