• ITMO’s Infochemistry Center Opens Lab Coworking for School Students

  At the newly opened coworking space, school students will get to work on their interdisciplinary research, conduct experiments, and learn to work with such high-tech equipment as a robot chemist, an incubator for growing cell cultures, or an atomic force microscope. Operating within the project Chemistry of the Future: Field-Specific Education in Contemporary Science, this brand-new space is a collaboration between ITMO University and Academy of Talents.

• COVID-19 Test Kits and Drug Delivery Systems: ITMO Specialists Teach Young Talents at Zerkalniy Camp

  The Zerkalniy camp recently hosted a specialized session for school students organized by ITMO University and the Academy of Talents regional center. Over the course of six days, scientists from the Infochemistry Research Center presented the latest scientific achievements to the young talents  and trained them for nationwide contests.

• Academy of Talents: ITMO’s Specialists from Institute of Design & Urban Studies Host Lectures for School Students

  St. Petersburg’s Academy of Talents has hosted Live City, a specialized educational program on urban science and design for school students. Participating as experts of the projects were the staff of ITMO University’s Institute of Design & Urban Studies. The specialists contributed with a series of introductory lectures and held interactive workshops. This should help the 9-to-11-graders to find a relevant topic for team research work that they could then present at the national competition of scientific and technological projects “Big Challenges” in the track “Smart City”.
