• ITMO has the Best Science Communicators in Russia

  The team of science communicators from ITMO University won the Grand Prix of the first professional award in the field of science communication in Russia “Communication Laboratory”. The Russian Venture Company together with the Association of Communicators in Education and Science (AKSON) have held the competition since 2017. Specialists in the field of communications as well as teams from universities that use the best techniques in popularising science and creating a dialogue between scientists and the public can win the award.

  Science communication is new to Russia, both as a concept and as a career field. Yet in just a few years a community of experts on the matter has formed here, and they are ready to start making science accessible to the larger society. Why does it matter?
