ITMO Graduates Set to Receive First-Ever NFT Diplomas From VK
Along with their digital diplomas, ITMO University’s graduates of 2023 will also receive unique tokens for the social network VK. These NFTs will serve as further proof of their degrees and acquired competencies. In the future, graduates will also be able to upload these tokens into job-seeking services as part of their CV.

ITMO Graduates to Receive Digital Diplomas and Personalized NFTs
This year, students graduating from ITMO University will receive digital diplomas to complement their state-issued ones. Meant to help students stand out from among other job candidates, these digital diplomas describe the practical experience and competencies gained by students during their time at ITMO. The best graduates of 2023 will also receive personalized NFTs.

Graduation Party with a View: Fourth ITMO.Live Festival Celebrated at Peter and Paul Fortress
For the fourth year in a row, ITMO University students received their diplomas in the heart of the historic St. Petersburg, beside the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress. For the second year in a row, the celebration united graduates of all levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s and specialist studies. By tradition, the grandiose festival ITMO.Live was held on the first Saturday of July and open to any citizen or guest of St. Petersburg and friend of ITMO University wishing to attend. Graduates with the most successes got their diplomas from the hands of ITMO University rector Vladimir Vasilyev. The venue of the open-air included a range of interactive zones featuring a faux marriage registry, innovative ice-cream, photo ops and board game areas. A total of more than 4,000 people came to ITMO University’s graduation party this year.

Electronic Checklists for ITMO Graduating Students
On May 14, ITMO University launches a new system of electronic checklists for graduating students. This means that students won’t have to waste any more time in lines with a paper form. The information about unfulfilled requirements can now be found in the “My Page -> Education” section at isu.ifmo.ru. The project was initiated by Special Projects Center and the Department of Information Technologies. Ekaterina Kalkina, the project manager, told ITMO.NEWS about all the important steps to be taken to graduate as planned.
