Wildlife photography festival
The exhibition, titled Golden Turtle, features the best of wildlife photography – the works that were rated highest within the festival’s competition. The categories include: Animal Portrait, Landscape, Animal Habitat, Animal Behavior, and Underwater World. Apart from the photos, there will also be public talks by prominent photographers and live screenings of travel movies.

The festival Leningradskie Mosty (Leningrad Bridges) is back for its 10th edition with three days of live music on bridges. The festival will kick off on August 22 with an unmissable lineup of Proletarskoe Tango, TERELYA, and many others. This is the largest music festival in St. Petersburg – and the only one in the world held on bridges!

See rare pieces of ancient and contemporary weaponsmithing from Bahrain – at an exhibition in St. Petersburg. The display features about 30 items that illustrate the country’s art of weapon-making throughout the centuries, as well as the tools used by craftsmen to produce these and other masterpieces.

South Korea is world-famous not only for its spellbinding landscapes – but also for its tigers; the animal plays a prominent role in the country’s folklore. With her collection of tiger-themed images, Ji Minsun, a South Korea-born artist, attempts to rethink the image of the feline in folklore through an interplay of new meanings and traditional painting techniques.
