Exhibition of works by Vasily Kaluzhnin
With its recently opened exhibition, KGallery is the place to learn more about lesser-known Russian artists. Starting May 26, the gallery presents the works of Vasily Kaluzhnin, a Soviet artist whose works were miraculously saved from oblivion after his death. Specializing in graphics, the artist produced a collection of paintings about St. Petersburg and the Russian North, rural landscapes and still lifes, and portraits of historical figures. The works currently on display share the common theme of ballet and theater.
