Engaging and marvelously-crafted, the display explores the story of the holiday, from the time of Palm Sunday to the resurrection of Jesus. Parallel Universes. From Abstraction to Artefact

The new exhibition opened at Marble Palace recreates the vibrant art and cultural scene of the ‘60s-’80s, with over 200 paintings and graphic works by an all-star group of underground artists. In addition to the classical artworks, the display will be accompanied by a media installation and avant-garde music.

This weekend is your last chance to view the vast, thought-provoking show of works devoted to the image of the creator, in all its diversity and contradictions. The exhibition features more than 180 pieces of art – paintings, sculptures, installations, and art objects – which were brought together from a wide array of museums and galleries all over Russia. Among the featured greats are Pablo Picasso, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Nathan Altman, and many others.
