Timed to mark the 110th anniversary of the Datsan Gunzechoinei temple, the exhibition presents more than 500 works of art – from sculptures to traditional thangka paintings – that examine Tibetan Buddhism and its profound influence on the world and St. Petersburg in particular.

Halloween: Cult Horror Soundtracks

For this Halloween special, the Community Center’s music club invites you to enjoy and discuss the greatest horror soundtracks. These include classic Hollywood orchestral scores, soundtracks of European art house movies and VHS-era trash horrors, and much more. The night promises to be musical – and a tad nerve-tickling.
The event is in Russian; no registration is required.

Architecton MMXXV
If you’re an architecture buff, you have to be at Architecton MMXXV this weekend! As part of the festival, you’ll get to visit an exhibition where you can learn all about St. Petersburg in the 1980s and 1990s. There will be plenty of graphic works on display: residential complexes, culture buildings, churches, and business centers – but also, remarkably, utopian architecture that never came to be.

Four Photographers
Four photographers, four worldviews. The exhibition will one-by-one introduce you to a quartet of artists – Alexandra Mitlyanskaya, Valery Orlov, Vladimir Martynov, and Zakhar Kolovsky – who are united by a contemplative approach to the world in creating simple yet unique pieces of art. Among the works is a series of geometrical street snapshots, pure photography, and unprecedented architectural spaces.

The gallery presents one of the major private collections by Yakov and Alexandra Kunin, which counts 230 works of art, including those by Alexandre Benois, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Nicholas Roerich, and other acclaimed artists. The collection has not been exhibited before, with only a select few paintings appearing at major museums.
