The local chamber choir, Petersburg Chamber Choir, will perform a two-hour concert at St. Petersburg Philharmonia tomorrow. The performance will feature Italian classics: timeless pieces by acclaimed composers Ottorino Respighi and Giacomo Puccini.

Valentin Serov: Cinema – A Metaphor for Reality

On display is a retrospective of Valentin Serov, the photographer whose life and work were inseparable from cinematography and the creative life of Moscow in the 1970s-1980s. At the center of the display is his Mosfilm series, a collection of images the artist took while working at the film studio: casting photos, crew portraits, and behind-the-scenes.

On display are over 100 artworks featuring the many towns of St. Petersburg in all their glory; some even capture significant historical and cultural events, such as the opening of Russia's first railway and Johann Strauss' concerts in Pavlovsk.

This blockbuster exhibition explores the rich history of Russian theater, its behind-the-scenes and many milestones. It brings together an impressive range of 1,000+ exhibits from museums, theaters, archives, and private collections from different parts of Russia – all themed around theater and audience. Among the exhibition’s highlights are the authentic main act-drop and its harlequin from Vsevolod Meyerhold's production of Masquerade.

Step into the world of Bardo Fabiani, the Italian photographer who has built himself a name in fashion photography and has been working with Vogue Italia for more than 25 years. Over his career, he photographed such stars as Linda Evangelista, Milla Jovovich, Giorgio Armani, and many more. The exhibition features both portraits and commercial photographs by the artist.
