• Levan Tatunashvili: Focusing On One's Own Resources Only is No Good

  On August 1st, ITMO University and Novosibirsk State University signed a new collaboration agreement for a 5 year term. As part of it, the universities will develop quantum technologies, innovative entrepreneurship, and contribute to the National Technology Initiative and the Digital Economy program.   ITMO and Novosibirsk State University initiated a collaboration agreement for a period of five years to enhance the development  of quantum technologies, innovative entrepreneurship and realization of the National Technology Initiative in Russia's regions.

• University of Amsterdam Renews Partnership Agreement with ITMO

  ITMO University and the University of Amsterdam (UvA) have continued their long-time tradition of cooperation and extended their partnership agreement for another five years. The document noting the two universities’ collaboration was signed by ITMO’s Rector Vladimir Vasilyev and President of the UvA’s Executive Board Geert ten Dam. The partner universities will not only continue working on their collaborative projects, but plan to strengthen their cooperation in regards to training postgraduate students on a shared educational program.

• ITMO and Finland's XAMK University Strengthen Relationship

  Head of School of Translational Information Technologies and of ITMO University’s eScience Research Institute Alexander Boukhanovsky and the Rector of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (XAMK) Heikki Saastamoinen have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The first step of this new partnership will be the staging of an International Young Scientists Conference. This year the event that will gather the leading experts on high-performance computing and simulation will take place at XAMK’s campus in the town of Kotka.

• ITMO University Signs an Agreement with Mediatech Company

  The document signed by ITMO's rector Vladimir Vasilyev and Yuri Sobolev, CEO of Mediatech, will launch two collaborative projects. As soon as in February, ITMO's students will have internships at Mediatech, where they will have the opportunity to access the level of their knowledge and learn the inner workings of large IT-companies. Also, a coworking will be organized on the base of the company, where promising students will get an opportunity to try themselves in working on specific projects, propose their own ideas and polish their skills by working with a professional team.
