    ArtMasters is a specialized competition that aims to discover and support professionals in creative industries. Among the event’s partners are leading Russian cultural institutions, ministries, and media companies. This year, Daniil Zuyev, a Bachelor’s student in computer technologies in design, won in the category Virtual Worlds Design, receiving half a million rubles in grant money and landing an internship at the virtual technologies department of Ostankino Television Technical Center.   • Professional Figure Skater Petr Gumennik On Entering ITMO and Getting into Bioinformatics

    Over 2,400 students started their Bachelor’s studies at ITMO this year. Among them is Petr Gumennik, a Russian ice skater and bronze medalist at the World Junior Figure Skating Championship. He joined ITMO University to study computer science and technologies but his dreams go beyond that: he wants to study bioinformatics and help create more efficient medication for the treatment of genetic diseases.

  • A Semester in a New City: DVIZH Academic Mobility Program Kicks Off at ITMO

    Students can now study for a semester at one of the five participating universities in Russia with the new DVIZH academic mobility program. In total, 184 applications from 130 students were submitted, and this fall ITMO will welcome 50 students from Moscow universities, while 14 ITMO.Family members will spend a semester in the capital.
