  Yulia Artemenkova fell in love with English when she was a kid. Years later, she decided to follow her passion and started teaching English at school. Having over 20 years of experience under her belt, Yulia continued to improve her skills and received her DELTA certificate. Today, Yulia not only teaches students but also runs professional development projects for English teachers at ITMO. Last year, she was named among the university’s top lecturers and received an award for her achievements in education.   English became an international language long ago and it is used for publications in leading journals. • EMI in Practice: ITMO Staff Participate in an English as a Medium of Instruction Internship at Boston University
