To boost your creative spirit and motivation, here’s a list of the best places to study near two main ITMO campuses.

• New Coworking Space Now Open at ITMO’s Lomonosova 9 Campus

  Just last month, a new coworking space opened its doors at ITMO’s main building on Kronverksky Prospekt 49. On November 24, a counterpart opened at the Lomonosova St. 9 campus. Both of the coworking spaces and the upcoming library have been developed as part of the university’s overall transformation strategy that aims to make studying, working, and socializing comfortable and enjoyable for all students.

• Classes to Resume at Building 4, Lomonosova St. 9 on April 2, 2019

  Building 4 of ITMO University’s campus at Lomonosova St. 9 will resume operation starting on April 1, 2019. The building’s fire safety systems have been returned to active mode, and access to the building has been opened via a first-floor hallway. On Monday, April 1, the building will be open to ITMO University staff, with classes resuming on Tuesday, April 2.

• Re-opening of Some of ITMO’s Buildings on Lomonosova st. 9

  The results of the safety review of ITMO University’s buildings on Lomonosova st. 9 (Building 1-М, Building 3-В and Е, Building 4-Б), confirmed that the collapse that occurred in Building 2-А, had no effect on the main bearing elements and foundations of other buildings. The continued functioning and maintenance of the current buildings have been deemed feasible. In this regard, access to buildings 1 and 3 will be open from March 18 for all employees of the University. On March 19, the classes will resume in buildings 1 and 3. The modified schedule for March 19 will be available in the University information system (ISU) from Monday and will be updated daily during the week. Building 4 is planned to be opened in April, once a safe entrance from other buildings is put in place.

• Update Regarding Access to ITMO Campus Buildings on Lomonosova St. 9

  Due to the work being currently carried out by Ministry of Emergency Situations officials, until March 7, 2019 access to all buildings of the campus on Lomonosova 9 is allowed only with the approval of the committee established by a Rector's Order. No classes will take place on the premises at Lomonosova 9. The current schedule is available on the university's website and in ISU. Please note that the class schedule is updated daily.

  We wish to remind you that on February 18-19, 2019, all classes scheduled to take place at Lomonosova St. 9 are canceled as per an official Rector's Order. All changes in the schedule of classes can be seen here.

• A Notice Regarding the Cancellation of Classes at Lomonosova St. 9

  On February 18-19, 2019, all classes in all buildings of the ITMO University campus at Lomonosova St. 9 are canceled.

• On Safety Review of ITMO University Campus Complex at Lomonosova St. 9

  ITMO University has contacted the Emergency Response Group, established to oversee the clean-up efforts, to conduct safety reviews of Buildings 1, 3, and 4 in addition to the safety review of Building 2 at Lomonosova St. 9. Reviews will be carried out by the St. Petersburg State Construction Supervision and Expertise Service. The goal of these additional reviews will be to determine the viability of continued educational activity. The estimated end date of the review is February 19, 2019. Access to all buildings on Lomonosova St. 9 on February 18-19 is allowed only under the approval of the committee established by Order 119-od signed on February 16, 2019. On February 18-19, no classes will be held in the buildings located at Lomonosova St. 9.
