Top Ten Questions from ITMO’s Endless Science Livestream
This summer, ITMO held the longest popular science livestream at VK Fest: 24 hours in which researchers answered 700 questions from the audience. The star guests and viewers wanted to know when people will fly to Mars, if there will ever be a time machine, and what are the current frontiers in different fields of science. Here are the top ten questions answered by ITMO’s researchers.

German Week in St. Petersburg: Experts Discuss Science Communication and the Social Mission of Modern Science
As part of the 16th German Week in St. Petersburg, ITMO University’s Science Communication and Outreach Office has organized an open discussion on the topic “The Changing Social Mission of Today’s Scientific Organizations”. Speakers from the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) discussed the work of scientific organizations in Russia and Germany and these organizations’ impact on social development.
