  • ITMO Ranks Second in Potanin Foundation's Ranking of Russian Universities

    Since last year, ITMO has climbed the ranking of Russian universities compiled by the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program: the university now resides in second place. Also in the top three (out of 75 participating universities) are Higher School of Economics and St. Petersburg State University.

  • 8 ITMO Students Win Scholarships from T-Bank

    Recently, T-Bank (formerly Tinkoff) announced the results of its annual scholarship program for university students. On this year’s list of winners are 200 students from 29 Russian universities, including 8 ITMO students. During the 2024/2025 academic year, winning students will receive mentorship from T-Bank, as well as a monthly stipend of 25,000 rubles.

  • First in Russia: ITMO Alumnus Creates Platform for Establishing New Stipends

    ITMO graduate Kirill Dobrinov has developed the platform Dobraya Stipendiya (“Kind Stipend”), where alumni and friends of ITMO.Family can start their own stipends of various sizes and with custom requirements for applicants. The minimal stipend is 10,000 rubles, a condition that makes the platform the first of its kind in Russia. Read more about starting your own stipend on the platform or applying for one.

    Applications to the Vladimir Potanin Foundation scholarship competition are accepted until November 20. Winners will receive 25,000 rubles monthly until the end of their studies. The contest is open to first- and second-year Master’s students from 75 universities – including ITMO – participating in the program.
