  • ITMO University Wins Grant From Priority 2030 National Program

    The selection process for the Priority 2030 national program came to end on September 26. Based on the results of the selection, ITMO University was named among the top Russian universities that will receive a grant of 100 million rubles. The full list of winners for the Priority 2030 National Program is published on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

    ITMO University will transition to the on-site learning format starting on February 8. Yesterday, a group of students submitted a letter to the Rector in which they suggested to consider providing students the opportunity to choose their learning format. We publish the Rectorate's reply. 


  • ITMO University Transferring Students to Distance Learning Until February 6

    As a means of preventing the spread of the coronavirus infection, the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education has made a decision to transfer all universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg to distance learning until the end of the semester – February 6, 2021. An associated decree was published on November 11. ITMO University will conduct its educational activities online with the use of distance learning technologies. The order signed by Vladimir Vasilyev, Rector of ITMO University, as well as sanitary and epidemiological requirements, are available here (in Russian).
