In mid-February, ITMO Preaccelerator hosted Demo Day, during which 14 teams presented their projects. Among them were both beginners and already functioning businesses. ITMO.NEWS put together a summary of the presentations.

ITMO University’s Preaccelerator began its second run on October 3. Some 100 teams will have an opportunity to develop their idea from a concept to a final project.
On July 24, residents of the ITMO Accelerator joined the program's Demo Day. Over the course of three months, 45 startups worked on their projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, and only 25 made it to the finals. They all took part in Demo Day, presenting short pitches before members of the jury and potential investors.
Rostelecom and ITMO University have signed a cooperation agreement on joint acceleration programs and technological startups development. Together, the company and the university will launch several acceleration programs, as well as other educational events aimed at supporting Russian scientific organizations and industrial enterprises that specialize in information and communication technologies, cutting-edge products for all sectors of the economy, as well as software and hardware-software systems.
