Prof. Cabal’s research group from the University of Havana, Cuba, learned to build their own magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners thirty years ago – back then, those were the only available MRI machines in the country. For more than 15 years Konstantin Fursov has been engaged in research in the fields of science and technology. Some of his interests are the sociology and statistics of science, scientometrics, and public perception of science and innovations.
