ITMO surpassed 47 universities and ranked in the top three by the number of received points. In total, the university will receive around 160 million rubles in grants to develop top-level educational initiatives. Funding will be available for students of the Software Engineering Bachelor’s program who will successfully pass an internal competition.

Upon graduation, students of the program will be able to build custom software – highload systems, web apps, mobile solutions, and other products – by using and adapting cutting-edge technologies. One of the program’s advantages is that students are well-qualified to begin their careers in their senior years of studies and can quickly advance to mid-level and senior positions at Russia’s tech giants.

In total, the project aims to produce over 3,500 specialists in Russia by 2030.
