Is there a place for ancient ideals in the modern art world? This exhibition attempts to provide an answer to this question by displaying works created by Russian artists in the 1980s-1990s, who were looking to find a new perspective on their contemporaries.

Vladimirsky LIVE festival gala

An event for the true locals out there, Vladimirsky LIVE is a festival organized by St. Pete’s Vladimirsky municipality. In the days leading up to the gala that is the culmination of the festival, the area’s various museums host a plethora of events, including quests and exhibitions (you can find the full schedule here). On Sunday, you will have the chance to enjoy four hours of jazz and rock performed live by local bands in the conveniently named Jazz garden.

Prints and Drawings: Arts in Dialogue from Dürer to Goya

Enjoy a rare opportunity to peruse the prints and drawings by established masters of the 15th-20th centuries, including Dürer, Goya, and Rembrandt. Stored in the Hermitage, the exhibits cannot remain on display permanently and can only see the light of day during temporary exhibitions. So seize your chance to take a tour of some of the best specimens of the art form.
