Artists, clowns and musicians from all over the world will come to Russia’s Cultural Capital this weekend to participate in the 9th International Festival of Street Theaters. Featuring all kinds of theatrical works from short improvisations and interactive plays to clownade, acrobatics and large-scale performances, this year’s festival will definitely blow your mind away!
Navy Day Celebrations

St. Petersburg is the marine capital of Russia, so it’s no wonder that the Navy Day celebrations here are among the most superb in the country. The star attraction, the ship parade, will kick off at 10am on July 28 at the Blagoveshchensky Bridge; it will also be live-streamed at the Palace Square prior to a music show that will start at 1pm. Among the headliners are a local music band Markscheider Kunst, Russian singer Alexander Rosenbaum, a Russian rock band Chaif, and others. The celebration will end with fireworks near the Peter and Paul Fortress at 10.30 pm.
Ballet Planet Festival

Held simultaneously in St. Petersburg and Moscow, the Ballet Planet Festival will feature over 50 productions of the biggest hits such as “Swan Lake”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Don Quixote”, and “Nutcracker”, performed by the troupe of the legendary Mariinsky Theater and accompanied by the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. St. Olaf Knight Tournament in Vyborg
