This weekend, the Street Art Museum, the heart of St. Pete’s urban art, will bring the city to life with a street art festival that will feature the works of 24 street, graffiti, and media artists from all over Russia. Marking the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great, the festival promises two days full of lettering and calligraphy workshops, live performances, incredible food, and much, much more!
French art exhibition

In other great news, you can still make the last train to visit the exhibition of works inspired by the scenic views of the French Seine. The exhibition takes place at the freshly-opened Brusnitsyn space and displays the graphic oeuvres of artists, from Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso to Marc Chagall, who worked on the shores of the eternal river in the 20th century.

Media exhibition

This summer will end in style – with another media art exhibition on! Zifergauz is currently hosting the first solo exhibition of Ozan Turkkan, a Turkey-born media artist, in Russia. His Fractal exhibition is a product of his thorough studies of fractal geometry, aesthetic interpretation, and beauty in algorithms, which comes alive to the sounds of Dmitri Shostakovich-inspired melodies created by the artist himself. It is both captivating and inspiring, see for yourself!

Live music and marine scenery – isn't this a perfect ending to a wonderful summer? On August 27, pianist Stanislav Chigadaev will give a majestic live performance that will bring classical music to the ever-bustling Sevkabel Port. You will get to hear beloved and familiar pieces created by composers Ludovico Einaudi (he wrote the soundtrack for The Intouchables) and Yann Tiersen (remember Amélie?).
