Movie night: Firebrand (2023)

Henry VIII is, perhaps, one of England’s most unbalanced, scandalous monarchs, with his reign still inspiring playwrights, artists, and directors – this movie being no exception. The historical drama covers the final years of Henry VIII's (Jude Law) reign and centers around Katherine Parr (Alicia Vikander), his sixth and final wife. Full of suspense and intrigue, the film is said to be gripping till the very last minute, having premiered in Cannes no less. Do you fancy a history lesson for your Thursday evening?
