Pushkinskaya 10 Art Center is turning 35! To commemorate a long journey filled with highs and lows, the center is hosting an exhibition, but not just any exhibition – a showcase of artworks chosen by non-artist members of the center’s family. The idea is that the staff, be they accountants, managers, or PR specialists, were invited to select one work from the center’s collection and give a presentation about its author, the art center, and themselves.

An exhibition of graphic art called Random Edition brings together mass and experimental, Soviet and Russian, graphic works created between the 1960s and the present day. Every object on view has a story, a seemingly random or not episode from the life of artists, workshops, or galleries.

Ilya and Emilia Kabakovs' large-scale installation is on display at the General Staff Building. As its name states, Monument to a Lost Civilization is a vision of a utopian city-museum of the artists’ dreams, paying a tribute to their home country, the USSR. The work is accompanied by detailed blueprints, layouts, and sketches – and is shown for the first time since it was presented to the museum in 2014.
