  • ITMO Lecturer's Startup MerkleBot Makes It to Techstars Accelerator Program

    The international startup MerkleBot launched by specialists from ITMO University and Boston University is a Robot-as-a-Service project. This blockchain technology-based  startup helps users pay for operations the robot then performs. Since 2020, the company has been cooperating with Techstars, the largest accelerator in the US. This year, they made it to the Filecoin acceleration program. We asked Alexander Kapitonov, the project’s co-founder and dean of the Faculty of Infocommunication Technologies, how MerkleBot made it to the accelerator and what startupers should do for growth.

    Daria Yakovleva got her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from ITMO and is now a PhD student at the Information Technologies and Programming Faculty.
