  • Second Season of ITMO’s Mega Contest Lets Its 200 Winners Get Into ITMO Without Exams

    The second season of ITMO’s Mega Contest came to a close. This year’s competition, which offers students from all across Russia an opportunity to enter the university’s Master’s programs without entrance exams, welcomed 1,979 participants from 64 Russian regions, with 213 of them winning prizes. The winners and runners-up are listed on the websites of individual competition tracks.

  • Multiplying Talents Contest Concludes in St. Petersburg

    More than 3,000 school students of grades 8 to 11 from all across Russia took part in the competition. The participants competed in solving complex problems at the intersection of math, chemistry, computer science, and engineering. The victory was awarded to students from Tyumen, Megion, and Orenburg. Other finalists included participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. All finalists will receive bonus Unified State Exam points when applying to leading Russian technical universities (such as ITMO) and will be supported at the start of their future career.

  • Complete Master’s and PhD in Four Years With ITMO’s New Educational Track

    Starting this year, prospective Master’s students can join a Master’s and PhD combined track, which allows students to pre-select their supervisors, enroll into PhD programs exam-free, and shorten their time of study at the university from six to four years by taking higher-degree courses in advance.
