    In the fall of 2019, Aleksandra Predeina, then a first-year Master’s student at ITMO came to Vladimir Vinogradov, head of ITMO’s SCAMT Institute and expressed a desire to make an art & science research project. Two and a half years later, this collaboration has resulted in a unique testing system for nanopharmaceuticals that will make it possible to significantly cut down on animal testing.     Friendly Friends, the team of ITMO’s Youth Robotics Lab, and their robot musician Robert Robotecky placed first at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2021. At the tournament final, the robot performed Sous le Ciel de Paris and Blue Canary while riding a hoverboard.

  • ITMO Highpark to Become Connected to St. Petersburg’s Water Supply Network

    The Vodokanal of St. Petersburg (the city’s main water utilities enterprise – Ed.) has begun the final stage of connecting ITMO Highpark to centralized cold water supply and disposal systems; as of now, the associated works are 80% done. As part of their efforts, the state utilities company’s specialists will install over 41 kilometers of engineering infrastructure.
