24-Year Old Millionaire on Cryptocurrency and Personal Development
ITMO University graduate Sergey Khitrov launched his first business when he was a first-year Bachelor’s student and earned his first million rubles at the age of 19. Now he organizes major international conferences on cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies and works on several projects. Among them is Listing.Help, a company that helps other companies make it to big cryptocurrency exchanges. Over the last year and a half, the company has promoted more than 400 ICO projects. In this interview with ITMO.NEWS, Sergey Khitrov talks about the future of blockchain technologies and the latest trends in the field of cryptocurrency.

Head of Mitsubishi Electric’s Department of Conditioning Systems: Why Working with Universities Is Our Top Priority
‘Development Trends of Life Support Systems’, a new educational project organized by ITMO’s School of Biotechnology and Cryogenic Systems together with the Russian branch of Mitsubishi Electric, the world’s leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art utility systems, has just started at ITMO University. The project consists of a series of workshops by the company’s specialists, who will brief students on which cooling solutions for data storage and processing centers have already been developed since the start of the ‘Yarovaya package’ implementation period, and how Mitsubishi Electric’s heat pumps, as well as split-air conditioning and water-cooling systems are used in the industry and beyond. The project will give the students, researchers and scientists of ITMO University a unique opportunity to learn more about hi-tech equipment and the latest trends in the field of energy conservation and renewable energy technologies. Digital Manufacturing and Automated Factories: ITMO Students Develop Projects for Diakont Company
Starting from this year, Diakont Jsc and ITMO University have launched a new subdivision, the Institute of Intelligent Industrial Technologies. What’s more, the partners are currently collaborating on a network Master’s program; its students get the opportunity to combine study with work, get jobs in hi-tech fields and introduce their inventions. In future, they will also be offered a chance to do internships at Diakont’s new plant in Italy. Founder of MEL Science Vasily Filippov: Only Those Who Work Hard Are Successful

Open Innovations 2018: Higher Education in the Digital Age

CEO of TuSion on Participating in Startup Festivals
TuSion is a neurogaming app that helps users develop their cognitive abilities by playing with the power of their minds. The app allows to decrease one’s level of stress and increase productivity. In the past, the team participated in ITMO’s Future Technologies accelerator. Since then, the project has undergone many changes, and its team has participated in many startup festivals and contests. Their members have recently returned from the *ship international festival in Finland where they made it into to the 10 best startup teams, and will soon participate in an acceleration program in New York. We’ve spoken to TuSion’s CEO Andrei Hapsasov and learned how the project changed over time, whether there is any point in participating in contests and conferences, and how to participate effectively.
