In accordance with the standards of flexible electronics, the new testing device is made from hydrogel and liquid metal, while data processing is handled by machine learning algorithms. Currently, the device consists of a potentiostat, an electrochemical cell, and a connected computer, but all the components will soon be a unified system complete with a user-friendly app. How does the device work? Researchers on the Spread of COVID-19 in St. Petersburg and Vaccination
Scientists have analyzed the spread of coronavirus in St. Petersburg throughout the past year. The research was headed by Anton Barchuk, head of the European University’s Institute of Interdisciplinary Medical Research and executive director at the Northwestern Federal District Association of Oncologists, and Daniil Shirokov, head of ITMO’s Center for Development of Publishing Activities and the scientific department of Severgroup Medicine. Neural Networks Predict Future Bestsellers
ITMO researchers together with a colleague from the University of Oulu in Finland created an algorithm for predicting the success of new books. The algorithm's claimed efficacy is based on the analysis of the emotional fluctuations of a literary text.
