ITMO Team Wins Best Project in Competition by 1C Company
Ilya Livshitz, a professor at the Faculty of Secure Information Technologies, and PhD student Egor Sokolov have won the competition for the best project in the field of management and bookkeeping automation held by the software developer 1C. Their method for digital workflow of legal documents was named the best in Central and Eastern Europe.

2020 ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects: ITMO Among Top 100 Universities in Automation and Control
From four subjects last year to seven this year, ITMO University is expanding its presence in the prestigious ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. Not only is it receiving worldwide recognition but this year ITMO is also the best Russian university in five of these subjects.

Shanghai Ranking: ITMO University Enters Global Top-100
Today, on June 26, the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy has announced the results of its annual Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, widely known as the Shanghai Ranking. Having assessed over 4,000 higher education institutions on their performance in 54 academic subjects, the authors of the ranking established the top universities in five academic fields such as Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. ITMO University, which made a big debut in last year’s ranking, entered in the top 100 of this year’s Shanghai Ranking in the Automation and Control subject field, and also secured its position in the Engineering group.
