    On August 27, the new Three University Missions Moscow International University Ranking (MosIUR) was released. Despite the increased competition, ITMO University improved its results by taking 219th place worldwide and seventh place in Russia.

  • 2020 ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects: ITMO Among Top 100 Universities in Automation and Control

    From four subjects last year to seven this year, ITMO University is expanding its presence in the prestigious ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. Not only is it receiving worldwide recognition but this year ITMO is also the best Russian university in five of these subjects.

  • QS World University Rankings: ITMO University Enters the Global Top-400

    The latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, published annually by the UK company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), has been unveiled. This year, 1,002 universities from 93 countries were included in the ranking. ITMO University has once again demonstrated growth, entering the list of the world’s top 400 universities.

  • ITMO University in Bronze League of Round University Ranking

    RUR World University Rankings evaluates the performance of 829 of the world’s leading higher education institutions from 80 countries. Compared to last year, ITMO University went up 85 places to 360th, moving up from the Copper to the Bronze League. In 2019, ITMO University was placed in the Diamond League among Russian universities.

  • QS WUR by Subject 2020: ITMO Tops Russian Electrical & Electronic Engineering Ranking, Climbs Further in Others

    Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), one of the world’s foremost authorities on the assessment of higher education, has published its annual list of university rankings by subject. This year, ITMO University was included in seven subject rankings, improving on last year’s six. The St. Petersburg-based university has been named the top Russian university in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering ranking for the second year in a row and was also included on the ranking’s global top-250.

  • ITMO University Rises Higher in THE Physical Sciences Subject Ranking

    The latest Times Higher Education subject ranking of world universities in the field of Physical Sciences has just been published. ITMO University made its debut in the ranking last year in the 401-500 place. In this year’s ranking, which includes a total of 963 universities, ITMO University improved its position and was placed 301-400.

  • ITMO University in Top 20 of Times Higher Education Eurasia Rankings

    ITMO University took a prestigious 15th place in the inaugural 2018 Times Higher Education Eurasia Rankings featuring the leading research-intensive universities of the Eurasia region. ITMO got an even higher recognition nationally, ranking 10th amongst Russian higher education institutions. THE Eurasia Rankings 2018 were announced at the Times Higher Education summit concluding today, August 31, in the Russian city of Kazan.
