Changellenge is a career platform for students and graduates that organizes internships, case championships, and leadership programs with the country’s leading employers: VTB, Alfa-Bank, Avito, X5, MTS, and others. The results of Best Company Award are based on surveys of over 9,000 students and graduates from 47 Russian universities. Apart from recommendations to applicants, the participants gave feedback on the quality of educational process and career prospects of graduates of their universities. Compared to last year, ITMO has climbed up from the third (8.65 points) to the first place (9.17 points).
In their surveys, ITMO students more so than any others evaluated their university as a strong starting platform for a future career. Moreover, ITMO is among the top three universities that students most often choose for their Master’s studies.
Studies at ITMO University are closely connected to industry. Students learn on real-world cases, complete internships, and can receive job offers even before graduating. For instance, this approach is implemented within the Bachelor’s programs AI360: ML NATIVE (with Yandex and Sberbank), Software Engineering (with Yandex, Avito, T-Bank, Ozon), Neurotechnologies and Programming (with Nexing), and AI Engineering (with VK and Gazprom Neft). This year, ITMO is launching two new programs – Game Design and Production (with Lesta Games and VK Play) and
MLOps: AI Systems Management, where up to 80% of students will be invited to internships at Selectel, Ozon Bank, and other partner companies.
Among partner-driven Master’s programs launched this year, there are: Advanced Food Systems: Digital Solution-Based Production and Management (with Shin-Line), Management of IT Infrastructure for Business (with Nexing), and Digital Finance: Innovations and Business Solutions (with Sberbank). The program Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (with Sberbank) now has a new track that trains professionals in embodied AI.
