Overview
Teach Me, Teach is the first and only podcast dedicated to all things education: schools and universities, online courses and webinars, career guidance and personal experiences. The show offers a unique view on important issues from guests of different backgrounds and perspectives – students, lecturers, industry experts, and more.
Hosts and guests
In each episode, hosts Anton Komolov and Daria Kozlova invite experts from IT, education, and EdTech. The first episode features Anna Stepanova, the director for educational projects at VK, and Gleb Kharitonov, the founder of Briskly (a retail technology provider) and a nominee for the Forbes Under 30 List.
Topics
Twice a month, the hosts will sit down with guests to talk about education trends, higher education vs. online courses, as well as the requirements for starting specialists, specifically in IT.
In the first episode, the experts shared their views on modern education, discussed recent trends, and talked about soft skills, entrepreneurship, and university training.
The second episode, called Хочу в школу как Хогвартс или Зачем сегодня ходить в школу? (I Want To Study in Hogwarts, or: Why Do I Need School?) will feature Mikhail Mokrinsky, the head of Letovo School, and Arina Nuriakhmetova, a co-founder of the edutainment startup Geek Teachers.
Within the first season, listeners can also expect to hear from Pavel Podkorytov, a managing partner for Napoleon IT, and Alena Markovich, the executive director of the Новый учитель (New Teacher) fund, who will speak about why entrepreneurs go into teaching.
ITMO students, too, will join the conversation. The upcoming episodes will feature Petr Gumennik, Russian figure skating champion and a first-year student; Ilya Korolev, a Bachelor’s student who managed to join the Infochemistry Scientific Center in his first year; Alexandra Cherk, a Master’s student at the School of Translational Information Technologies; Vladislav Lapaev, a student of the Art & Science Master’s program; Anna Baldina, a PhD student at the Infochemistry Scientific Center; and George Zograf, a senior researcher at the School of Physics and Engineering.
