Tulip Festival

Kick off the unofficial start of summer in style by seeing thousands of jewel-like tulips in bloom and enjoying classic 1960s poetry – from Bella Akhmadulina to Robert Rozhdestvensky – at St. Petersburg’s Tulip Festival. The celebration features colorful tulip beds, with over 200,000 mesmerizing flowers and 120 types of tulips, as well as unique compositions and bouquets that’ll turn Yelagin Island into a true realm of flowers. The event’s program will also include exhibitions, art installations, live music, poetic performances, workshops, and more.

The legendary market is back in town! Don’t miss your chance to upgrade your wardrobe on a budget or simply draw inspiration from the aesthetics of the unique items. From vintage and antique jewelry to handmade ceramics and wooden trinkets – here, you can find anything your heart desires. The organizers of the market also prepared a number of handy-dandy workshops for those wishing to try their hand at creating art. Check out the market’s VK page to learn more about the event.

Seaside Bazaar

What can be better than a flea market? Right, two markets you can explore over the weekend. On May 29-30, the Seaside Bazaar will bring together over 200 local brands offering a variety of products: clothing and accessories, home and decor, beauty and health, gastronomy, children's clothing and toys, and art. While you’re there, take part in its various workshops and lectures, get on a boat tour from Sevkabel Port, and simply enjoy the good vibes.

XVI St.Petersburg International Book Salon

On May 27, one of the most magnificent cities in the world (spoiler alert: St.Petersburg) will celebrate its 318th anniversary by throwing loads of events around the city, one of them being the one and only International Book Salon. Held for the 16th time, the Salon is designed for all book lovers striving to expand their horizons by listening to lectures by top speakers and prominent authors and attending numerous workshops, panel discussions, and round tables. Hopefully, there’s still room on your bookshelf for a soon-to-be-your-favorite book or even books.
