The Chinge-Tey I memorial complex includes 9 burial sites of the “golden youth” of the Scyths from the late 7th-early 6th centuries BC. Among the excavated items are several thousand gold objects, including some intricate jewelry pieces. By studying the site, researchers hope to learn more about the lives of these warriors and the reasons they were buried there. Apart from the excavated objects themselves, the exhibition documents the expedition’s efforts and discoveries through the years.
