Beholder 1 (2016)
- Genre: point-and-click adventure, strategy
- Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS
A mix between the cult classics Papers, Please and Neighbours from Hell, the Beholder series by Warm Lamp Games drops you into a morass of oppression, conspiracy, and personal drama. In it, you take on the role of a state-appointed landlord of an apartment building, whose job is to keep tabs on his tenants. You're able to eavesdrop on their conversations, break into their apartments, and report on any violations, but at the end of the day, it’s your decision and so are the consequences. The original title was followed by two sequels and a spin-off, in which you get to be a clerk, a landlord (again), and even a train conductor.

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante by 101XP is a choose-your-own-adventure gamebook where you’re to write the story of Sir Brante, a lowborn boy in a dark fantasy world. From his childhood to his life’s turning point and beyond (if you don’t die prematurely), you will face moral decisions that'll make your mouse wavering over the screen. It’s up to you whether the character accedes to or rebels against the order – but remember, any choice has its price.
MiSide (2024)
- Genre: horror adventure
- Platforms: PC
A simulator on the surface, MiSide is in fact a psychological anime-style horror created by a team of just two developers from the AIHASTO studio. The story begins with the player finding themselves inside a simulation, alongside a virtual companion named Mita; their innocent romance, however, starts to turn more sinister with every minute. It offers a unique blend of romance, suspense, and even some occasional comedy. Plus, it’s a game within a game; there are a handful of mini-games (from dancing to tic-tac-toe and snake) to keep the fun going.
