Loosely based on a Japanese classic and some of Miyazaki’s earlier ideas, the film explores the highly relevant topics of environmentalism and cultural diversity. As usual, the event promises quite the program: workshops and photo zones, a food court, a floating piano, several opportunities to make your wish, and a series of open-air music performances. In this percussion-rich concert, musician Andrey Volosovskiy will walk you through pieces from different times, with Aria from Bach’s Goldberg Variations as the central piece.

Nihao Shifu festival

Join this festival of Chinese food and culture to treat your taste buds to some new flavors, attend curious lectures, and hear Chinese artists perform live on the festival’s stage. Also part of the festival will be a market with delicacies, teas, and jewelry from China.

Klaudio Mehmeti. Seeing the Impossible

On display are images that are the result of a collaboration of a talented photographer and an AI. Author Klaudio Mehmeti aims to reimagine the way we see iconic cultural landmarks by placing them into unexpected contexts or surrounding them with nature.

This exhibition, while more conventional in the medium, is no less contemporary: on view are 40 pieces – graphic works, canvases and objects – created by artist Semion Guliako over the past four decades. In each series of works, the artist explores a specific topic in-depth, expressing his thoughts on canvas through abstract art.

John Neumeier: The Glass Menagerie

Based on a play by Tennessee Williams, this ballet tells the story of a family, where each member, the mother, her son and daughter, is dealing with their own grief – until a light-beat, light-hearted character enters their lives.
