The partners will be working as part of the federal research and engineering program for development of synchrotron and neutron research up to 2030 and beyond. SKIF’s capacities and residents of ITMO Highpark’s techno valley will join forces to conduct research, as well as implement scientific, educational, and engineering projects.

Within the partnership, the parties will develop studies using intense X-ray beams, including at SKIF’s experimental stations, and collaborate in the fields of AI, photonics, quantum technologies, biotechnologies, as well as additive and digital solutions. Special attention will be paid to assembling a selection of residents who will conduct applied research of materials structure, process dynamics, and life sciences using contemporary methods such as X-ray diffraction, tomography, spectroscopy, and nanometrology.

This partnership will facilitate the development of research, educational, and industrial cooperation, launch of new high-tech productions, research commercialization, and strengthening of Russia’s technological sovereignty.
