The academic year is almost over. Doing an internship is a great idea on how to spend the approaching vacation, especially as traveling is still limited: some companies even offer remote internships. We have compiled a list of several intern positions. Seize an opportunity to spend your summer well!
ITMO University’s National Center for Cognitive Technologies
When: July-August
Application deadline: June 21
Teams: six research teams that work on various tasks.
Conditions: a paid internship, official employment, an individual plan of the internship, an opportunity to be admitted to Master’s or PhD studies at ITMO University’s Faculty of Digital Transformation or to become a permanent staff member.
How to apply: download this application form, fill it out, write a motivation letter, attach your portfolio and send it as a PDF file to nccr_hr@itmo.ru. You should write “Стажировка, исследовательская группа ____” (“Internship, research team ____”) in the subject line.

Fields: backend and frontend development, machine learning, analytics, mobile app development.
Conditions: a paid internship, an opportunity to work with a mentor, real-life tasks.
How to apply: to join the team of interns, fill out an application form, complete a sample job task in one week, pass several technical job interviews.

Fields: content consumption and suggestions, Core ML; applied research; content consumption and suggestions, backend; advertisement and business products; performance advertising; backend infrastructures; design department.

Format: remote and on-site
Duration: three months or more (20, 30, or 40 hours per week)
Fields: development, big data, artificial intelligence, analytics, system administration, testing.
How to apply: apply online, pass a video interview or a test, pass an interview with an HR manager and the head of a relevant department.
Conditions: flexible hours, a salary, real-life tasks, a mentor, training sessions, online courses at the MTS Corporate University.
Nestlé
Duration: six months
Fields: IT (support and analytics), commercial analytics, digital & e-commerce.
Conditions: a paid full-time internship, an individual plan for your growth, real-life tasks, reimbursement of lunch expenses, an opportunity to get a permanent position after the internship.
Requirements: Bachelor’s students in their last year of studies and Master’s students are welcome to apply.
Unilever
Duration: three months
Application deadline: June 30
Requirements: students in their 3-6 year of studies; required level of proficiency in English depends on the project; 30 working hours per week.
Fields: IT, finance, marketing, customer development, R&D, supply chain management.
How to apply: apply online, pass a test, record a video interview, pass an interview with a line manager, and wait for the offer.

Fields: programming, system administration, technical support, engineering support of the data center, human resource management, analytics, finance.
