  In the latest Superjob ranking, ITMO University was ranked first in St. Petersburg and second in Russia based on the net income of its IT graduates. In 2025, ITMO-trained IT specialists earn an average of 290,000 rubles a month – their salary grew by 12% compared to last year.

• ITMO To Receive Over 160 Million Rubles for Educational Programs in IT

  ITMO University was named among the top Russian universities that will be training world-class IT specialists in 2025-2030. The competition was held by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation. Winners will be granted financial support through the national project Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the Country.

• Russian Team Claims 24 Medals at the International Advanced Tournament in Informatics in Bulgaria

  The Russian national team took home fifteen gold and nine silver medals at the XVI International Advanced Tournament in Informatics (IATI), which took place in Bulgaria on April 9-13. The students joined the event remotely. The senior team’s coach was Andrey Stankevich, an associate professor and the dean of ITMO’s Information Technologies and Programming Faculty.
